On the (Somewhat) Irrational Fear of Wolf Attacks

Most victims of fatal wolf attacks
are found surrounded by spent shells
and at least eight dead wolves.


Any winter walk a trek—some unavoidable.


Yeah, wayward babes are swiped
from rural backyards and infected
frothers stumble into townships.


The world is no static snowglobe.


But—stats are stats. They’re rare.
Very. Bring your gun. But—stats are
stats. If the pack is hungry enough...
